From approximately 750 kg of F₂ per year, on-site electrolytic fluorine generator becomes operationally and economically relevant. It eliminates cylinder logistics, reduces regulatory exposure, and provides direct control over production input.
At 750 kg/year, cylinder supply represents approximately 30 bundle deliveries per year. F₂ storage at this scale triggers ICPE classification obligations in France, with requirements that increase with the quantities present on site. Delivery frequency becomes a logistical constraint. A regulatory review — covering both F₂ and HF, which carries its own classification requirements — is a standard component of our Phase 1 assessment.
